Citing a Russian newspaper sources, RDS.ca reported that Kovalev doesn't expect to play another game in the Habs uniform. According to the same report, he definitely decided not to return with the Montreal Canadiens next season.

He partly blames the younger players for their actions outside the ice for the trouble the team's been having recently. And according to him, it's only the tip of the iceberg.

On Monday former Habs coach Jean Perron said that Carey Price, Christopher Higgins and Sergei Kostitsyn party a lot. Pictures also recently appeared showing those players while partying.

Kovalev said he wouldn't be surprised if he gets traded by the Habs.

Note: This is only a rumor. The last time a Russian newspaper printed something about Kovalev in turned into a media circus! We'll know what's the real story in the next few days.
