The Mason basketball team hosts the Drexel Dragons (14-10, 10-5 CAA) Wednesday night at the Patriot Center.

Drexel went 2-0 last week with wins in Boston at Northeastern 62-58 and at home against Towson 78-65.

The Patriots (17-8, 10-5 CAA) are fresh off their 64-53 win over the Northeastern Huskies this past Saturday.

John Vaughan scored 14 of his game-high 16 points in the second half. In that half, Mason outscored 47-33 to pick up their first win on Homecoming weekend since 2006.

Mason defeated the Dragons 56-55 in Philadelphia on Dec. 6, 2008 to open up CAA conference play. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and the game is being televised on FiOS 1.
