Mikael Samuelsson has a ring, and some wonderful insights into hockey. He’s blunt, honest, and can be outspoken, especially when emotional. None of these are bad things when you’re looking for a good interview. But, with all due respect, what the hell is he talking about? In an interview with HockeySverige.se, a substantial online-only publication in Sweden, Samuelsson, uhm, fingered the finger biter. Reminiscing about his time in Vancouver, Samuelsson addressed the championship which slipped through the Canucks, well, fingers. And Samuelsson opined that when Alex Burrows gnawed the bear in Game 1 it greased the skids for the Canucks’ Stanley Cup final loss.
