There may be hope still for the Los Angeles Galaxy. David Beckham has pulled one back to make it 2-1 Vancouver Whitecaps.

A cross from Landon Donovan in the 77th minute was cleared aside by the Vancouver back line, who have been stellar this evening. In the 78th minute, another set piece from David Beckham was punched aside by Joe Cannon.

In the 79th minute, Beckham’s net set piece was collected by Cannon. On the transition, Gershon Koffie’s volley bounced off the crossbar and it forced a rare corner for Michael Nanchoff that was cleared by Josh Saunders.

In the 81st minute, Beckham was able to pull one back thanks to Landon Donovan. His close shot from 18 yards out hit the top left corner.
