It is turning into a rout here at BC Place Stadium. The Galaxy are resorting to the efforts that have cost them 10 times this season, going on 11. Scottish international Barry Robson has made it 2-0 to the good for Martin Rennie’s Vancouver Whitecaps, and Bruce Arena’s Galaxy are in a world of trouble.

A chance for David Junior Lopes in the 21st minute from Marcelo Sarvas sailed wide right. In the 26th minute, a chance for Vancouver rookie Darren Mattocks was whiffed due to too much pace from Dane Richards.

In the 27th minute, Robson scored his first goal of his Whitecaps career on a delivery from Lee Young-Pyo to double the advantage. Bryan Gaul came in for Todd Dunivant in the 31st minute of play.

Just what is going on with this Galaxy team? They have proven to be inconsistent on both ends all year, and if this result holds, it will result in a rare clean sweep for all Canadian teams playing today in MLS. It is a shameful effort from Los Angeles, and they have no one but themselves to blame for this.
