Big deals are going down. More are coming.

With Thiago Silva already signed for Paris Saint-Germain, the nouveau-riche French club will now turn to finishing a deal for Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

With Eden Hazard and Marko Marin already signed for Chelsea, the big-spending Blues continue to close in on Brazilian wunderkind Oscar.

And with a world-class roster already secured, Real Madrid are reportedly closing in on a deal for Luka Modric.

Record-Breaking Oscar?

Chelsea are close to a "record" deal to sign Brazilian midfielder Oscar from Internacional (ESPNSoccernet).

According to Internacional president Giovanni Luigi, Chelsea's offer is close to the Brazilian transfer record.

"I want the transfer of Oscar to be the biggest deal ever in Brazilian football," Luigi told Radio Gaucha. "And the Chelsea offer isn't that far from that."

According to The Independent, Chelsea are preparing a £25 million bid.

Oscar, 20, has earned six caps for Brazil.

Modric Deal Almost Done?

Luka Modric's potential move from Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid is almost complete, according to the Daily Mail.

According to the Mail, the clubs have agreed to a basic fee of £30 million and are negotiating over incentive-based additions.

Modric, 26, joined Spurs in 2008 from Dinamo Zagreb. He has been capped 57 times by Croatia.

French club Paris Saint-Germain are also thought to be interested.

Ibra Deal Still on Hold

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's move from AC Milan to Paris Saint-Germain is still on hold as negotiations continue (The Independent).

Ibrahimovic, a 30-year-old Swedish striker, was part of a reported €65 million PSG bid last week. The other player involved was Milan defender Thiago Silva, who has already signed with PSG.

According to The Independent, Ibrahimovic wants to sign a three-year contract worth €15 million.

Carroll Back to Newcastle?

Newcastle United are stepping up their efforts to reacquire English striker Andy Carroll from Liverpool (Daily Mail).

Carroll, 23, joined Liverpool from Newcastle in a £35 million deal in January 2011. Extensive rumors suggest the Reds are ready to let Carroll leave, either on loan or in a permanent deal.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Liverpool turned down a Newcastle loan offer. The two clubs, however, could still agree on a permanent deal.

Bradley Seals Big Move

American midfielder Michael Bradley has completed his $4.6 transfer from Chievo Verona to AS Roma (Associated Press).

Bradley, 24, played half a season for Aston Villa on loan in 2011.

In other American transfer news, USA midfielder Clint Dempsey continues to be linked with a move from Fulham to Liverpool. According to Goal.com, Dempsey has declined to sign a new contract with Fulham.
