NBA free agency is off and running, but there are still plenty of big names left on the board. One of those big names is O.J. Mayo.

According to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports, Mayo is receiving interest from several teams.

Here are the three best destinations for his services.

Los Angeles Lakers

Playing in Los Angeles would give Mayo a great opportunity of winning an NBA championship. He would possibly push Los Angeles over the top (win a championship) especially with the newly acquired Steve Nash.

However, Mayo would have to be willing to eat some shots with Kobe Bryant's need of the ball. Playing with Nash will help some, but there are so many weapons around, Mayo might be lost in the mix which may be something he's not interested with.

If Mayo wants a ring, wants to play with a great point guard and wants to play in a larger city, Los Angeles would be a great destination.

Dallas Mavericks

If Mayo wants to play alongside a superstar (Dirk Nowitzki) while being the top-dog in the backcourt, Dallas is his answer.

Jason Kidd and Jason Terry are gone and the backcourt is decimated. Mayo will step in and be asked to score on a consistent basis to take the pressure off of Nowitzki.

Would that interest Mayo? Or does he not want to play for a team that took a major step backwards this offseason?

Time will tell.

Chicago Bulls

Mayo's best fit would be in Chicago. He would play alongside a superstar in Derrick Rose on a team that plays unbelievable defense and is constantly in the running to win a championship.

Chicago needs an All-Star type of shooting guard and Mayo is just that. During his first two seasons in the league, Mayo averaged 18.5 and 17.5 points per game.

He has since dropped down to 12.6 but he's still only 24 years old. Mayo could easily return to his All-Star form.

If Mayo ended up in a Bulls uniform, Chicago would be my pick to win the Eastern Conference assuming Rose is healthy at the end of the season.
