On Friday, the Los Angeles County District Attorney announced that it is dropping all charges against Tampa Bay Buccaneer Eric Wright.
ProFootballTalk.com spoke with Wright's attorney, who announced that his client is now happy and eager to begin training camp on July 27 in Tampa.
"Today I am pleased to announce that the Los Angeles County District Attorney has reviewed the facts and decided not to file any charges. Therefore, no charges at all will be filed against Eric," so said his attorney, Jeremy I. Lessem, Esquire.
Wright now has the cloud of doubt removed. He was charged two weeks ago with felony DUI. Now, he's free to those charges and ready to come to camp on July 27.
Good news for Wright and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Buccaneers said after Wright's arrest there would be no rush to judgement.
Good move.
