After February, the Longhorns momentum on the recruiting trail was incredible. Whitewright quarterback Tyrone Swoopes, who ESPN and Rivals.com initially classified as the nation’s top dual-threat quarterback, and Sealy wide receiver Rickly Seals-Jones, the country’s No. 1 prospect at his position, according to both ESPN and Rivals.com, were both among the players verbally committed to Texas.
