WWE Money in the Bank 2012: 5 Things That Need to Happen at the Pay-Per-View
It's Friday and two days away from the "Money in the Bank" PPV event Sunday night. All matches are finalized, and here I am talking about what needs to happen while the show takes place.
Think of me as someone who likes to think ahead.
The matches signed lend me to think this could be a very good PPV if certain things do not happen, like A.J. Lee being the center of attention in the WWE title match. But, as we all know, what a girl wants is usually what she gets in this business.
Call it a bit of foreshadowing, but there needs to be a major hook that becomes a cliffhanger in this prelude to the summer.
These things need to happen once the lights go on at MITB.
Tyson Kidd Must Take Another Step Forward
Could the WWE finally realize the potential of another Hart protege?
Kidd is a phenomenal talent in the mold of other great cruiserweights. Can he take his talents to another level?
While I do not see him winning MITB, he could very well help himself with a great showing. A feud with Damien Sandow is great. A rivalry with someone like Chris Jericho or another veteran is even better.
Something Must Happen with Brock Lesnar
He is only a week out from Raw's 1,000th episode, but he has been hiding long enough.
Does the big man make an appearance at the PPV and shock the world?
Lesnar's entrance after WrestleMania 28 was epic. He needs to make another grand entrance.
John Cena Wins MITB Match
The only reason why I want this to happen is so the creative team, the WWE management and everyone else associated with the company can get their heads out of their asses and see that Cena/Punk must happen again.
Does this lead to Punk turning heel? I sure hope so. He is a better heel than a face. But Cena winning another WWE title also puts a bull's-eye on his back again.
Remember, "Let's Go Cena, Cena Sucks!"
A.J. Lee Will Cost CM Punk the WWE Title
Not that this is any great surprise.
Punk has been a title holder for over seven months now. While the "Voice of the Voiceless" has filled his role as champion admirably against the best in the company, seeing someone else wear the gold is imperative for Punk to remain a popular superstar.
Like I have said in the past, Punk chasing the title is a better character than Punk having the title.
We shall see what A.J. Lee has in store for "one of her men."
A Cliffhanger to SummerSlam
Something that will leave us holding our breath.
Last year, CM Punk walked out of Chicago with the WWE title. What will happen this year?
There needs to be as much drama and suspense to keep us all waiting and asking for more.
