I was already a Carmelita Jeter fan, but now she's trying to move up to Serena Williams' status in my book.

Her body is simply amazing, and in ESPN's annual Body Issue, she's showing off. The full issue doesn't release until tomorrow, but I'm impressed by the preview images.

Jeter has just the right amount of muscle and femininity to create a beautiful balance. No female physique in the magazine exudes this awesome quality the way Jeter's does.

The release of the magazine just prior to the start of the Olympics will do wonders for her popularity.

We could be looking at another Florence Griffith-Joyner-like effect on the games.

Flo Jo gained a ton of attention for racing in her super sexy one-legged sprinting outfits, and it made it all the better because she was so good.

Flo Jo won three Gold medals in 1988. Jeter is every bit as sexy and nearly as good on the track.

She is the one of favorites to take gold in the 100 meters in London, and has a shot in the 4x100 meter relay as well.

Most of the attention for the women's US Olympic trials went to the photo-finish for third place. But if you watch here you'll see Jeter finishing first with no dispute.

If she can duplicate her performance from the Olympic Trials, it will be as good as gold. Just like her amazing figure.
