Thursday was a monumental day in the recruiting world. Reuben Foster, the nation's No. 2 overall recruit and longtime commitment to Alabama, flipped his commitment and will sign with the Crimson Tide's intrastate rival the Auburn Tigers, according to 247Sports.com.

The 6'1", 250-pound inside linebacker from Auburn (Ala.) High School had also been considering flipping to the Georgia Bulldogs.

What does Foster's commitment to Auburn mean for the Tigers, Alabama and Georgia? SEC lead blogger Barrett Sallee examines the situation in this special edition of Bleacher Report's Full Ride.
