Colorado (9-15, 1-9) at Nebraska (15-8, 5-5)

Wed. Feb. 18 at 9:00 P.M. EST

Spread: Nebraska -12

Backcourt Advantage: Nebraska

Senior guards Ade Dagunduro (11.8 PPG) and Steve Harley (11.0 PPG) hope that experience is the difference against Colorado, who is led by sophomore guard Cory Higgins (17.9 PPG). This game will be won in the backcourt as neither team gets much scoring from its frontcourt. The Cornhuskers are a scrappy bunch, forcing nine steals per game, which ranks 17th in the nation.

Frontcourt Advantage: Even

Both teams struggle inside, as they are both usually out-rebounded by their opponents. Nebraska had the advantage in their first meeting 30-22, a game in which they won 55-53 in Colorado, despite only hitting 13-of-24 free throws. Nebraska is hoping this game won't be quite as close, so their poor free throw shooting doesn't become an issue.

Momentum: Nebraska

Before getting romped by Missouri on Saturday, Nebraska had won three straight games to move into the top half of the Big 12 standings. The Buffaloes have been dreadful, sitting in the basement of the conference for the entire season. This game won't be pretty, but I don't think Nebraska has the fire power to blow the Buffs out.

Shaun's Pick: Colorado +12
