Dear Mr. Jagr: Please Help the Penguins

Dear Mr. Jagr,

In an interview this year, you said that you owe the Penguins and Mario Lemieux a lot. In fact, you said you owe both so much that you would be willing to come play in Pittsburgh for the league minimum, but that you did not think they would need your services.

Well in the current situation the Penguins need your help. They need your talent and your leadership. The team has no direction and little chemistry and they need one of the best players ever to wear a Penguins uniform to come back and save the day. A playoff spot and some respect are at stake if you do not answer this plea.

I love watching Evgeni Malkin and Sidney Crosby, but I'm 100 percent sure the NHL would love to have you back, the Penguins would love to have you back, and all your loyal fans who have loved watching you over the course of your career would die for your presence in a league that is missing a veteran superstar.
