Michigan Video: Watch Wolverines' Jack Kennedy and Joe Reynolds' Music Video

A quarterback and receiver hook up off the field in a music video that isn't half as bad as you might think it would.

That's about as much enthusiasm as I can muster for a song I will forget rather easily, but that's not a bad thing.

I come to you with a song from some football players, and your initial thought might be what I had the moment before I pressed play.

This is going to suck.

Nope. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised to find the Wolverines' backup quarterback Jack Kennedy, known as JDK in this case, has a great rhythm and cadence to his delivery.

What's more, receiver Joe Reynolds has a sweet and altogether smooth voice that is perfect for this Ann Arbor anthem that puts a smile on the face.

The duo is JDK and Rey and this song is entitled "Away." It's a little too summertime boy band for my taste, so you won't see it on my iPod—but that's hardly the point.

Even I have to admit talent when I see it, and these boys have talent.

Of course, some may find reasons to hate this video, namely Denard Robinson riding around on a longboard. I'm guessing there are some Wolverines fans who would like him to take a seat and keep healthy.
