Steroids: I Don't Care Anymore
Steroids. Steroids. Steroids. Blah. Blah. Blah.
Enough already. Enough with all of the steroid talk. Please.
I don't know if the talking heads and scribes at ESPN, SI.com, CBS, NBC, ABC, FSN, etc. know this, so I'll be the first to clue them in—we've had enough with the steroid talk.
Baseball players took steroids? Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh no!
NFL football players took steroids? Heavens to Betsy.
Boxers and Mixed Martial Artists took steroids? Bootros, Bootros, Golly!
It's 2009. I'm 35 years old. Steroids have been around since I was in high school. I knew guys in high school that took steroids; I knew guys in college who took steroids.
So professional athletes taking steroids does not come as a shock to me. And it hasn't for 15 years now.
I understand that steroids are bad for you, and I'm not condoning their use.
But I just don't care anymore that some athlete took steroids. Honestly, I could care less.
