Chelsea have become a massive club in the transfer rumor mill and look to be going nowhere anytime soon.

Their run of success in the modern millennium has been one of the best in the game, and the club have been a massive force since the financial backing of Roman Abramovich took charge.

With plenty of money to throw around whenever he feels the need, the deep coffers of the club's Russian billionaire owner keep them in prime position for many of the world's top targets.

As the summer window kicks into high gear, we take a look at the buzz surrounding the possible outcomes of the latest club gossip from the daily papers.

Oscar to Chelsea

The papers this morning of July 10th, 2012 have exploded with news that Chelsea are set to land Brazilian and Internacional starlet Oscar for a fee of £22 million to £25 million, depending on the source of the Telegraph, the Daily Mirror or the Guardian.

This rumor appears legitimate, but there is plenty of time for Tottenham to come back into the race.

Steven N'Zonzi

The Daily Mail reports that Chelsea are interested in Blackburn Rovers youngster Steven N'Zonzi as another youthful addition to the club after Rovers' relegation.

However, with all the other young talent linked to the club at the moment, this one appears rather farce.

Stevan Jovetic

TalkSport has revealed that Chelsea are expected to have to pay upwards of €30 million for Fiorentina starlet Stevan Jovetic.

Although the club have been highly linked to a move for Hulk, the youth and slightly lower cost could see them think about Jovetic.

Andre Schurrle

According to Goal.com, Chelsea have had an offer of £16 million for Bayer Leverkusen's 21-year-old striker Andre Schurrle rejected.

This one appears to be another false notion, as the Blues have bigger targets in their sights from the Bundesliga.

Robert Lewandowski

The Daily Mail broke news that Chelsea have joined the pursuit of Borussia Dortmund's 23-year-old Polish striking star, Robert Lewandowski.

This looks a more likely high-priced German-based target than Schurrle, but it could prove harder to pull off.

Frank Lampard to Galaxy

Okay, so he watched a game with David Beckham on vacation.

Big deal—Frank Lampard isn't leaving Chelsea.

ESPN did confirm that he wasn't leaving, just to complete my argument.

Luka Modric

Several days ago, the Telegraph suggested that Chelsea could be tempted to go after Luka Modric once more if his move to Real Madrid collapses.

However, the Daily Mail is claiming that the massive transfer fee of £35 million could be more than Real want to pay for the Croatian. That once more leaves the door open for Chelsea.

While their past interest suggests that it could happen, I would say it is a 50/50 chance of coming true.
