Rory McIlroy has been immortalized in the form of a mural in the Northern Ireland capital of Belfast. A two-story painting of McIlroy posing in a follow-through, located in the Holyland part of the city, was completed on June 26, two days before the start of the Irish Open at Royal Portrush. “It was the intention of the mural of Rory to send out a positive message that if you work hard enough at what you do you can achieve your goals,” said Declan Boyle, who commissioned artist Danny Devenny to paint the work, according to Bernie McGuire.
