The All Pac-10 team was posted today on the Pac-10 Official Site.
The USC Trojans had three players to make the various honors.
No surprise at the top of the list was freshman phenom OJ Mayo, who was the second-leading scorer in the pac with 20.9 points a game. Mayo also finished the regular season schedule second in the Pac-10 in thee-pointers made, eighth in free-throw percentage, and sixth in steals (excluding Pac-10 and NCAA tournaments). Mayo was also named to the Pac-10 All-Freshman team.
Included on the All-Freshman team is powerhouse Davon Jefferson. The 6-8, 220lb Jefferson ranked seventh in the Pac-10 in field goal percentage, 19th in scoring, ninth in rebounding and eighth in blocked shots.
Taj Gibson pulled off the hat-trick, making Pac-10 player of the week, the All Pac-10 Defensive team, and the third team All Pac-10. Gibson was a wall on defense, ranking first in the Pac-10 in blocked shots with 2.47 per game. He was sixth in both offensive and defensive rebounds, not to mention ranking third in field goal percentage at .593.
