Included on the All-Freshman team is powerhouse Davon Jefferson. The 6-8, 220lb Jefferson ranked seventh in the Pac-10 in field goal percentage, 19th in scoring, ninth in rebounding and eighth in blocked shots.

Taj Gibson pulled off the hat-trick, making Pac-10 player of the week, the All Pac-10 Defensive team, and the third team All Pac-10. Gibson was a wall on defense, ranking first in the Pac-10 in blocked shots with 2.47 per game. He was sixth in both offensive and defensive rebounds, not to mention ranking third in field goal percentage at .593.
