Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard took in a Los Angeles Galaxy game Wednesday night with former England teammate and current Galaxy star David Beckham, after rumors surfaced the team had made an offer to Lampard.

According to Dave Kidd of People, the Galaxy have offered the 34-year-old midfielder a two-year, $13 million contract to team up with Beckham in Los Angeles.

While Lampard is saying he has no intention of leaving Chelsea, his contract with the Blues expires next year, and it is possible the team would let him leave.

With a Lampard transfer a looming possibility, here is a look at five players Chelsea could use to replace their beloved star.

Chelsea has already had one offer for Victor Moses rejected by Wigan Athletic, but there is still a very good chance he is playing for the Blues next season.

The 21-year-old budding star scored six goals in 36 games for Wigan last season and would be an excellent addition to the Chelsea midfield.

From the sounds of it, Moses' agent has made it his mission to unite the two sides, and it seems like only a matter of time before the deal happens.

While it now appears Arsenal is also in play for Moses (according to The Daily Mail), expect the midfielder to be wearing blue come next season.

Luka Modric, Tottenham Hotspur

Just when it seemed like Luka Modric was surely headed to Real Madrid, Chelsea is back in the picture for the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, according to The Daily Mail.

The 26-year-old midfielder just finished up playing for Croatia in the Euro Cup and now is back to being one of the hottest transfers on the market.

A bidding war between Real Madrid and Chelsea is certainly going to ensue, and the winner will get a skilled midfielder who been one of the most impressive players in the Premier League over the past several years.

Whoever wins Modric services, you can bet there will be a large sum of money heading Tottenham's way when it is all said and done.

Chelsea should be prepared for another battle, this time with Manchester United for the services of Benfica midfielder Axel Witsel, according to the Daily Express.

The attacking midfielder is ready for a move to the Premier League, and he would be an excellent addition for the Blues.

It will be interesting to see where the star from Belgium lands this summer.

Hatem Ben Arfa, Newcastle United

It was previously rumored that Chelsea was ready to offer Newcastle United an impressive amount for their prized midfielder, but now it appears that Arsenal has the inside track on Hatem Ben Arfa.

The 25-year-old played for France in the Euro Cup, and Newcastle is looking to cash in on the big interest in Ben Arfa.

Ben Arfa would be a great fit for Chelsea, and it seems like all he wants is consistent playing time on a Premier League team.

Coach Robert Di Matteo should be able to offer the midfielder plenty of that, and Ben Arfa could be that final piece that makes Chelsea the Premier League favorites heading into the season.

Victor Wanyama, Celtic F.C.

Chelsea has been rumored as the frontrunners to acquire Kenyan midfielder Victor Wanyama from Celtic F.C. according to the Daily Express.

It appears that Robert Di Matteo would love to have Wanyama in his midfield, and the 20-year-old would be an ideal long-term replacement for Frank Lampard.

Wanyama was very impressive this past season for Celtic, and it appears he would cherish an opportunity to play in the Premier League.
