Miami Heat—What Moves Should They Make?

With the recent trade with Toronto, many fans are wondering what the Heat could do to boost their roster. The Raptors acquired Shawn Marion, and the Heat acquired Jermaine O’Neal and Jamario Moon. With the addition of Jermaine O'Neal, one question is in mind—can the Heat make some noise in the Eastern Conference?

Possibly. O'Neal, a proven big man that can score and dominate in the paint when he is healthy, is an improvement. If O'Neal can stay healthy, Miami can get back into Championship form.

What are some other moves Miami can make to their roster now? I don't believe they will do anything, but if it was me, I would try to acquire another big name that would work with the rising talents of Mario Chalmers and Michael Beasley. It would also help, just in case D-Wade decides to go elsewhere.

What are some possibilities for the Heat? They shouldn't make any trades. Instead, they should try to clean up salary cap. With this cap room, they could pick up other great talents during the offseason, if Wade stays or not. Just think—LeBron or Chris Bosh with Dwayne Wade.

What a great time to be a NBA fan.
