Steven Threet to Transfer

David MendenhallCorrespondent IFebruary 16, 2009

Steven Threet has decided to transfer from the University of Michigan. He will make an announcement sometime today to release a statement. Threet has already received his release.

I know Threet wasn't the greatest QB ever, but his experience will be missed. I know he wasn't the fastest or most accurate QB, but I seriously thought he would have a chance to stay the starting QB.

So, there you have it—it will either be Tate or Denard getting the nod to start. I know most people thought that one of those two would get the nod anyway. Everyone knows that we don't ever want to see Nick Sheridan on the field again.
