Jagr, Stars Agree to 1-Year, $4.5 Million Deal

The Dallas Stars have agreed to terms on a one-year, $4.5 million contract with free-agent forward Jaromir Jagr, according to TSN. The NHL’s eighth-highest career scorer, Jagr returned to the league last season to play for the Philadelphia Flyers. He socred 19 goals and 35 assists in 73 games with the Flyers in 2011-12. The 40-year-old Czech winger had been away from the league for three seasons prior to 2011, playing with Avangard Omsk of Russia’s Kontinental Hockey League.
