The Penguins have re-signed goaltender Brad Thiessen. He accepted a one-year contract that will pay him $525,000 if he plays in the NHL, something unlikely unless Marc-Andre Fleury and/or Tomas Vokoun is injured, and a reduced salary if he is in the American Hockey League.
