With the 1,000th Raw just weeks away, the WWE is pulling out all the stops, which now includes the returns of Mark Henry and Rey Mysterio.

According to wrestlinginc.com:

As noted earlier, Rey Mysterio was at RAW last night but was not used. PWInsider is reporting that WWE is holding of his return, as well as Mark Henry's, until the 1000th episode of RAW on July 23rd. Mark Henry gave an update on his health this morning, writing, ""Twitter family I'm good! Healing at a fast rate. Not out of the woods yet!"

Overall, this is a smart move by the WWE, as they should have more fans than usual watching that show and this would allow casual fans a chance to be more invested. Not to mention, with Mysterio being out of action for the better part of a year, it's safe to say his return is long overdue.

Henry's presence has also been missed, as the WWE is in dire need of a heel for Sheamus to feud with. I personally have high hopes for the 1,000th episode and am keeping my fingers crossed that the WWE can pull off a solid show. In the end, we will have to wait and see what happens. Especially considering these two are both former world champs and could easily be placed back in the main-event scene.

Let me know your thoughts, are you looking forward to Henry and Mysterio's return, or should they just hang it up?
