Professional athletes are guys that lead a tough life. The demands of being a professional hockey player are so grueling that it's hard to have a hobby off the ice.

To most of us fans, these guys only really exist in the team colors during game nights. It's quite easy to forget that these gladiators that entertain us are also just regular guys.

The guys may be immensely talented hockey players, but they also have things about them that the average person might not know.

Here are some of those fun facts.

Henrik Lundqvist

When he's not dominating the crease in the Big Apple, Henrik Lundqvist can be found rockin' out on stage.

Lundqvist is quite the talented guitarist.

Milan Hejduk

Milan Hejduk has a Stanley Cup and a Rocket Richard trophy to his credit as an NHL player, and we all know that NHL players love Halloween.

Hejduk had the "privilege" of attending an Avalanche Halloween party alongside Peter Forsberg.

Forsberg was Bill Clinton, and Hejduk was Monica Lewinsky.

Jaromir Jagr

We all know the magic hands and impeccable puck-handling skills of Jaromir Jagr.

What we might not know is that he has a certain affinity for a specific snack. Jagr is obsessed with Kit Kats and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

Teemu Selanne

Teemu Selanne is probably the greatest Finnish player ever to skate in the NHL, but he wasn't always a hockey player.

Before Selanne made the trip across the pond, he was a kindergarten teacher in his native Finland.

No wonder he's always perceived as a kind and soft-spoken guy.

Alexander Ovechkin

Alexander Ovechkin can make a hockey puck go anywhere he wants it, and that apparently carried over to the golf course.

During Ovechkin's first ever round of golf, at a charity tournament, Ovechkin hit a hole-in-one.

Those of us who have been playing for years and have yet to come close now hate him.

Daniel Briere

Daniel Briere has made a living scoring highlight-reel goals, but what if he hadn't been a hockey player?

According to the dynamic forward, if he hadn't picked up a pair of skates, he would probably be an accountant.

A little hard to picture that type of environment with as much energy as he has.

The Sedins

Daniel and Henrik Sedin are competitive guys. And being competitive guys who happen to be identical twins brings in a lot of competitions within the family.

When these two aren't competing together on the ice, they're competing against each other on the golf course.

Although, it doesn't seem to be much of a competition, as Henrik has never lost to Daniel.

Sidney Crosby

Sidney Crosby is the face of the NHL and might be the best player in the world, but he's an everyday guy, too.

Apparently Crosby has some issues finding good jeans in Pittsburgh—he gets all of his jeans custom made from home.
