South Carolina football coach Steve Spurrier had his contract bonus enhanced in provisions approved Friday by the university's board of trustees.
Spurrier's old agreement included bonuses for winning nine, 10, 11 and 12 games. However, he could collect only the one he reached. The new deal allows Spurrier's bonuses to add up as the Gamecocks add victories. Spurrier's team won a program-record 11 games last year...
