J.W. Singer LLC's Teeth of the Dog just held a tenacious Fast Falcon in the stretch of Saturday's Grade 2, $200,000 Dwyer Stakes at Belmont Park to score by a neck on the wire.

The Michael Matz trainee, who was exiting a 3 3/4-length win over that same rival in the Easy Goer Stakes on June 9, lived up to his even-money favoritism when crossing under the wire in 1:41 1/5 for 8 1/2 furlongs on the fast dirt. Joel Rosario guided the son of Bluegrass Cat to reward his backers with payouts of $4, $3.10 and $2.30.
