Tony Stewart made it very clear on a TV interview what he was going to do if Kyle "I'll bump you" Busch turned him around in the last lap of the Daytona Nationwide race: he was going to show him his left hand.
Now I may be wrong, but I don't think that was some kind of Valentine gesture.
Kyle Busch made the same move on Friday night at the end of the truck race; could this be a new 2009 Kyle racing strategy? I'm sure this would make him even more of a fan favorite than he already is.
Just in in case you didn't see the races and are not familiar with the new move, lets do some background; remember last year when you couldn't show Kyle Busch a quarter panel or door he didn't hit, like the JR incident and the Juan Pablo Montoya episode?
There is nothing new about getting behind another car and giving him a bump (bump drafting comes to mind), of course the Kyle bump only has one purpose in mind: just to punt you! To turn you around! Agree? It may just be Kyle's way to say "hello, I love you, buddy." Hey, it could be!
I can bet the house, the wife and the kids (actually the wife I'll throw in as a bonus, and good luck to you) that Mr. Kyle Busch will punt someone at the end of a race with his new 2009 signature move and I hope Kyle is not "IQ deficient" enough to do it to Dale Earnhardt Jr.
If he does it, the Jr. nation would go nuts, and Kyle will probably have to go to Europe to race rally or sled dogs.
If Kyle keeps this up, it will be an enjoyable year for the Kyle Busch haters. Someone will not only show Kyle Busch a left hand, but also an uppercut, a right jab, and a few knees to the...ouch, well, you know!
