Euro 2012 Schedule: When and Where to Watch Spain Attempt History

With a victory over Italy in the final of Euro 2012, Spain would make history and strengthen the argument that they are the best team in the history of world football.

No team has ever won the European championship two straight times, which also means no country has ever won two straight European championships with a World Cup championship in between.

With so many countries having to change players from tournament to tournament over the years, Spain's ability to keep a very similar squad for all three of these competitions is extraordinary. They are a team that plays one style, and no one tries to do their own thing. The group is committed to winning, and they put their personal feelings aside for the good of the team.

If you love football, you cannot afford to miss Spain chase history and take their place among the greatest teams in the history of sport.

Prediction

Spain will continue their domination of world football and defeat Italy 2-1 to capture the Euro 2012 crown. A victory would give Spain three European titles, which would tie Germany for the most ever.

Spain will take a 2-0 lead with a goal in each half of play and not relinquish their advantage. Spanish captain Iker Casillas will lift the European Cup in what has become a familiar scene at these kinds of tournaments.
