Can the young Yankee pitcher Phil Hughes rebound from the injury he suffered last season?

Hughes pulled his left hamstring last season on May 1st against the Texas Rangers, and he did not return until August 4th against the Kansas City Royals.

The Yankees are counting on Hughes to have a great season, now that he is recovered from his injury.  They are hoping he can deliver the success and skill they expect from him.

Hughes shows great ability on the mound, and he is a proven starter in the majors.  He’s one of the best young pitchers in baseball right now.

Hughes will be a major part of the Yankees winning their 27th World Series.  He needs to stay healthy if the Yankees want a chance at postseason success.

Last season Hughes' debut season record was 5-3 with an ERA of 4.46 and 58 strikeouts.  He’ll be a great pitcher for the Yankees for years to come.  With the starting rotation looking good for the Yankees, they can really make a run at number 27.
