Adam Jones stood in a hotel ballroom Thursday, telling AFC rookies what a fool he has been. He said this with utter sincerity, in hopes that the newly minted pros before him would pause from their dreams long enough to grasp some of his hard-road reality.
Jones has been where they are now. He doesn’t want them to go where he went. “That’s what I’m here for,’’ the Bengals cornerback said by phone Wednesday night.
