Spain and Italy are preparing to meet in the finals of the EUFA Euro 2012 competition.

It has been an excellent tournament full of intrigue, brilliant play, shocking upsets and heroic goals that brought pride to entire nations.

Now that the Azzurri and La Roja are the last two sides standing with a chance to win the championship, there is no more room for mistakes and no margin for error. Both countries must be in peak form if they want to win the Euro and the eternal glory that comes with it.

You obviously aren’t going to want to miss a single minute of this match, so here is how you can watch it.

Where: Olympic Stadium in Kiev, Ukraine

When: Sunday, July 1 at 2:30 PM EST

Watch: ESPN

Live Stream: ESPN3

Players to Watch

Mario Balotelli, Italy

The eccentric striker was the hero for the Italians in their semifinal conquest of Germany. He scored both goals and nearly had a hat trick in one of the most brilliant performances of his career.

Balotelli should once again get the start up top against Spain and they will rely on him to break past the defense and attempt to get a ball past this next man…

Iker Casillas, Spain

Casillas is possibly the best goalkeeper in the world right now and came up huge in penalty kicks against Portugal in the semis.

He’s certainly going to be challenged by the Italians, but if anyone is up for the task, it is the Real Madrid netminder.

Prediction

Spain 0 – Italy 0, with Spain winning on penalty kicks, 4-2.
