2007 NBA Draft: Mock Draft

Dave FinocchioSenior Writer IJune 6, 2007

IconAs the trade whispers seem rather legitimate these days, here's a look at how the 2007 NBA Draft might turn out if some lowly NBA GMs exhibit a bit of courage.

Between Kobe, the Celtics, and the other 15 disasters in the league, we have to see something drastic...right?

Hypothetical trade assumptions:

* The Celtics trade Paul Pierce, Gerald Green, and the #5 pick to Seattle for the #2 pick and an additional salary-player. Seattle does not resign Rashard Lewis.

*The Lakers trade Lamar Odom, Andrew Bynum, Kwame Brown, and the #19 pick to the Timberwolves for Kevin Garnett and Craig Smith.

* The Bulls trade the #9 pick and P.J. Brown to the Trailblazers for Zach Randolph.

Taking the combine and theoretical trades into account, here's the latest version of my 2007 NBA mock draft:

1.    Portland Trailblazers — Greg Oden
