The 2012 NBA draft is now in the books and the NBA's new rookies will be enjoying life in the spotlight over the next couple of days.

While almost all of the rookies selected in the draft are on Twitter, only a select few get the honor of having hilarious Twitter accounts.

To be qualified for this prestigious honor, a rookie must not only be constantly updating their Twitter status, but they must also provide entertainment and laughs for the viewing enjoyment of the casual NBA fan.

While they are not necessarily the most talented individuals on the basketball court, this group consists of the most entertaining players ready to make their debut in the NBA.

Here are the five most hilarious rookie Twitter accounts that you will want to follow by the time the 2012-2013 NBA season arrives.

Jared Sullinger, Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics' first-round pick Jared Sullinger is just as active on Twitter as he is in the low post.

@Jared_Sully0 is usually a very goofy player on the court and his profile description shows that not much changes when he is off the court:

140 Characters can't sum me up... I am who I am.. I do what I do! Don't ask... YES it is me!

Sullinger has a terrific sense of humor that Celtics fans will eat up. The big man is sure to become a fan favorite in Boston.

He even showed he can take an insult by retweeting some of the nasty things some people had to say about him.

While Jared Sullinger will be looking to rack up minutes on the court with the Boston Celtics as a rookie, you can bet that he will be racking up the tweets off of it.

Draymond Green, Golden State Warriors

Why is it that the large guys seem to be the funny ones?

The Golden State Warriors' first-round pick Draymond Green joins Jared Sullinger on this list. Green showed his "big" sense of humor when he tweeted at Sullinger.

@Money23Green is another player who is constantly updating his Twitter account, which includes taking Instagram photos of his cramped plane seating situations.

Draymond Green will be one of the more hilarious rookies in the NBA next year and you can bet this will reflect in his Twitter account.

Perry Jones III, Oklahoma City Thunder

Perry Jones III should be celebrating like he won the jackpot as the talented Baylor forward gets to play with the likes of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook in Oklahoma City.

@Perry_Jones1 is one of my favorite rookies to follow on Twitter, mainly because the majority of his tweets involve his quests for food.

Whether he is in Dallas, Detroit or Philadelphia, Jones always seems to be tweeting about where he should eat his next meal.

At 6'11" 235 lbs, it's no wonder he is always tweeting about food.

The other reason Perry Jones III is a Twitter favorite is because he appears to be a Family Guy fan.

Any true Family Guy fan should know what Jones is talking about in this tweet:

Perry Jones III is one of the most entertaining rookies on Twitter, and now he gets the opportunity to be on one of the most entertaining teams in the NBA with Oklahoma City.

Tony Wroten, Memphis Grizzlies

One of the best freshmen in the country last year, Tony Wroten was selected with the No. 25 pick by the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Grizzlies are not only getting a talented guard with the basketball, but a guy you can count on for a few laughs on his Twitter account.

@TWroten_LOE has a goofy swagger about him that is evident just by looking at his profile description.

just a man trying to make my DREAMS a REALITY. I SWIM WITH THE BIRDS, AND FLY WITH THE FISHES. MY LIFE IS DIFFERENT. GOD BLESS. L.O.E 4 LIFE

While Wroten is a very talented basketball player, it appears his abilities also extend to the video game arena as well.

If you are looking for a player to put your video game skills to the test, or just want to get a good laugh, Tony Wroten is a rookie you want to follow.

Kendall Marshall, Phoenix Suns

The successor to Steve Nash in Phoenix, Kendall Marshall has by far the best Twitter name in the NBA draft, maybe even in the entire NBA.

@KButter5 is easily a player whose Twitter you will want to follow during his rookie season, as the point guard always has something entertaining to say.

Whether he is watching hornets mate, tweeting bathroom humor or looking at new ways to wear hats, Marshall is a weird, entertaining guy.

While Kendall Marshall is all business on the court, the new Suns point guard is easily one of the most hilarious rookies on Twitter.
