Michael Vick's Contract Rights: There's Nothing More Worthless

Well, you have to give the Atlanta Falcons credit for one thing: they are smart enough to want to rid themselves of the most worthless memory in recent history.

Thomas Dimitroff is attempting to trade the rights to Michael Vick's contract.

Smart to want to get rid of these un-valuable rights but foolish to wonder who on earth would have interest in this?

I don't even think a team like the Lions are desperate enough to want to be associated with Vick.

Think about it, Vick was the single-most, overrated player in all of the National Football League during the prime of his career. Who on earth would have interest in a prison-bred version of the overrated man that we all once knew?

Who knows when Vick will be leaving prison and when he does come out, who would want to pay him any money? Not many teams will have interest in shelling out any large sum of money to gain the services of a mediocre player with a horrible reputation.

Sorry, Falcons. I'm just not so sure you will see the interest your hoping for out of this situation. It should prove to be quite interesting to see what happens in the weeks to come.

But don't be too down Falcons' fans, at least you have a quarterback far better than Vick ever was—Matt Ryan.
