After struggling in his first season with the Dolphins under Cam Cameron in 2007, linebacker Joey Porter embraced the Dolphins' new 3-4 scheme brought by Tony Sparano and Paul Pasqualoni in 2008 on the way to 17.5 sacks and his fourth career Pro Bowl selection.
While the Dolphins finished 8th in the NFL in sacks in 2008, Porter had nearly half of them and the team was quite in need a of a better pass rush at times during the season - especially later in the year. The Dolphins have already moved to remedy the problem by signing two-time CFL Defensive MVP Cameron Wake.
Will Wake be enough, or do the Dolphins still need to add more talent to the outside linebacker spot? I address this position for the Dolphins heading into the 2009 offseason in the following video. Enjoy!
