Kentucky was desperate for a big, quality win last time out at home against Florida and while it was a nail biter in Rupp Arena, Jodie Meeks did what all great players do—got it done in the clutch.

Arkansas has been desperate for a win of any kind and they aren't getting it winning only twice since the ball dropped in Times Square signifying that 2009 was here.

At 6-3 in the conference, Kentucky now finds themselves in a four way log-jam atop the SEC East; with time running out it's anyone's for the taking. Arkansas, meanwhile, has been at a loss since SEC play began, going 1-8 and struggling.

Kentucky needs a strong finish to cement their spot in the NCAA tournament; Arkansas needs to get something positive going to try and salvage a season that looked so promising just nine games ago. While Kentucky is 3-3 overall on the road this year, they are 3-1 in Southeastern Conference road games.
