Still without Robbie Hummel, Purdue defeated Penn State 61-47on Wednesday night. The Boilermakers scoring was balanced between 4 players in double digits and they took care of the ball in handing out 16 assists against just 5 turnovers.  Purdue continues to suffocate opposing offenses and ranks 9th in the nation on defense, giving up just 58.3 points a game.

Iowa fell victim to Wisconsin on Wednesday 69-52 at the Kohl Center in Madison. Jake Kelly paced all scorers with 17, but the Hawkeys managed just 4 assist against 16 turnovers for the game. Iowa has now dropped 5 of their last 6 games and there are no soft spots remaining in the final 6 games of the regular season.
