Like it or not, it's going to happen and according to WWE.com, it will be sooner than later.
As I reported a few weeks ago, Kelly Kelly netted herself a long-term WWE deal. Although, at the time, there was no word as to whether or not she had agreed to sign with her former employer.
It now appears that she has come to terms with some sort of deal with the WWE. According to her WWE profile page, she is slated to return next Monday July 2nd and seems to be locked in until at least December 30th.
Even though this might not mean a whole lot in terms of her long-term future with the company, it does hold up hope that a full-time return is not completely out of the realm of possibilities. Ultimately, the WWE must feel that K-2 is a hot commodity and it needs to find a way to keep her under the WWE wing.
Although the WWE has proven its interest in the former Diva, one has to wonder if it will need to make some changes to its work schedule in order to entice her to stay. As any fan knows, the WWE's work and travel schedule is very intense and has proven to be not desirable to many stars.
During this past year alone, K-2, John Morrison and The Bellas have stepped away to rejuvenate and take a break from the road. This left fans with mixed emotions, some happy to see them step away, while others longing for their return.
In the end, there is no telling what the WWE has in store for Kelly Kelly. However, it appears to be certain that they are willing to do whatever it takes to keep her around.
So what do you think? Is K-2 just appearing for a one-off, or should we expect to see the Diva for some time to come?
