USA Today caught up with WWE Legend Kevin Nash at the Los Angeles Film Festival on Sunday night, an event that hosted various celebrities including Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey and director Steven Soderbergh.
According to Nash, he is very close to landing an unspecified role in the upcoming blockbuster The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
"I just pray it's recurring, that he doesn't get killed," Nash said.
This won't be the first time the former WWE Champion has been featured on the silver screen. Nash's acting resume includes movies such as The Punisher, The Longest Yard and, most recently, Rock of Ages, which starred Tom Cruise and Alec Baldwin.
According to various rumors circulating the Internet, Nash will play a former Hunger Games champ named "Brutus" in the upcoming 2013 sequel.
