I am writing about the top ten players who I think are quiet achievers of their team. These men do so much for their team, they maintian consistency, get their job done and always give it their best but never get th recognition they deserve.

These players I hope to see get more credit for their efforts and receive more publicity than others who are not as consistent as these men.

You may disagree, and feel free to voice your opinion.

10. Chris Brunt

WEST BROMWICH, UNITED KINGDOM - JANUARY 17: Chris Brunt (L) celebrates with teammate Borja Valero (R) of West Bromwich Albion after Brunt scored his team's first goal during the Barclays Premier League match between West Bromwich Albion and Middlesbrough

The tall and imposing West Bromwhich Albion and Northern Ireland winger has always gone out and given his best no matter what the circumstances.

He started his professional career at Middlesbrough but failed to make any impact and took his chance at Sheffield Wednesday, were had a successful career playing over a 150 games.

Whoever Brunt is playing for he always gives his best, rarely sulks and does the job. In 2007 Brunt moved to West Bromwhich were he helped them regain their spot in the Premier League for the 2008-09 season.

Brunt has also been a quiet achiever for Northern Ireland were he has recorded more than 20 caps.

9.Boaz Myhill

LIVERPOOL, UNITED KINGDOM - JANUARY 10: Boaz Myhill of Hull City in action during the Barclays Premier League match between Everton and Hull City at Goodison Park on January 10, 2009 in Liverpool, England. (Photo by Clive Brunskill/Getty Images)

I feel the safe hands of Boaz Myhill have gone unnoticed for too long. The Welsh keeper has had an up and down career.

He started at Aston Villa where he never received a cap. Whilst at Villa he was loaned off to a host of clubs. The likes of Stoke, Bristol and Bradford, Macclesfield and Stockport all had Myhill on their squad but despite his talent he only played a dismal 19 times for all of the six clubs.

Finally in 2003 he found his home at Hull City. Myhill has been instrumental in Hull success. He stood between the sticks for over 220 games now and has always been a reliable and safe keeper.

8.Yossi Benayoun

The Israel captain has been a quiet success since joining the Premier League. The 28-year-old veteran has played for many clubs but has looked to have found home at Liverpool.

The attacking midfielder's blistering speed and balance has been a big part of Liverpool's attack and has become a nuisance to defenders. The "Diamond", as he is called in Israel, has been a consistent performer for the Reds and I believe deserves more recognition.

7. Carlton Cole

The former Chelsea striker, who is currently with West Ham, has finally found form. Having been at a number of clubs on loan the English international finally looks set at West Ham.

2008-09 looks to be his season. With 10 goals to his name he has easily been one of West Ham's best performers.

6. Tim Cahill

YOKOHAMA, JAPAN - FEBRUARY 11: Tim Cahill of Australia in action during the 2010 FIFA World Cup Asian qualifying match between Japan and Australia at Nissan Stadium on February 11, 2009 in Yokohama, Japan. (Photo by Robert Cianflone/Getty Images)

The Australian attacking midfielder has a habit of scoring big goals against big clubs.

Having been a consistent performer for Everton for a number of seasons, Tim Cahill now looks in good shape and looks set to guide Australia to their third World Cup.

Cahill has played a big part in Everton's wins and I feel does not enough publicity for his skill.

5.Mikeal Arteta

MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM - JANUARY 31: Carlos Tevez of Manchester United competes for the ball with Mikel Arteta of Everton during the Barclays Premier League match between Manchester United and Everton at Old Trafford on January 31, 2009 in Manchester

Easily Everton's most talented player with his sensational balls, his stunning free kicks, and his damaging runs. Arteta has always performed well for Everton and many believe he should be at a bigger club.

Despite his immense skill Arteta has failed to break into the Spanish national side due to their dominant midfield. I think this is unfair as Arteta has terrific ability which seemingly goes unnoticed.

4.Steven Pienaar

The South African midfielder whose contribution always seems to go unnoticed has been a terrific player for the number of clubs he has played for.

Currently at Everton, Pienaar has been a star in their talented midfield. With his crosses, runs and shots Pienaar is one of the main reasons Everton's midfield is one of the stronger ones in the league.

3. Park Ji-Sung

For many seasons now South Korean international Park Ji Sung has been an unnoticed soldier. But thankfully now he is finally getting the recognition he deserves.

This season he has been a star in Manchester United's dominant midfield but it is often overshadowed by Ronaldo's performances. Sung is easily one of the most unrecognised talents but things look bright for the midfielder.

2.Nemanja Vidic

LONDON - FEBRUARY 08: Nemanja Vidic of Manchester United challenges Carlton Cole of West Ham United during the Barclays Premier League match between West Ham United and Manchester United at Upton Park on February 8, 2009 in London, England. (Photo by R

The Serbian defender has been an instrumental rock in the Manchester United defence and alongside Rio Ferdinand the Manchester defence is almost impossible to get past.

Vidic is easily one of the best center halves in the world but at a team like Manchester United Vidic's efforts are often overshadowed by the likes of Ronaldo, Rooney and Berbatov.

But he will always remain one of the best defenders around as he continues to get better and better.

=1 Edwin Van Der Sar

The courageous Dutch keeper, who I believe is easily the best gloveman in the world, just does not get the credit he deserves. The United keeper has ensured basically nothing gets into the back of United's net.

Van Der Sar is a quiet achiever who works hard and always gives his best. United owe a lot of their success to their heroic keeper

=1 Bacary Sagna

READING, UNITED KINGDOM - NOVEMBER 12: David Kitson of Reading is beaten to the header by Bacary Sanga of Arsenal during the Barclays Premier League match between Reading and Arsenal at Madejski Stadium on November 12, 2007 in Reading, England. (Photo by

Since Joining Arsenal in 2007 Bacary Sagna has been a consistent and tidy right back who always does the job with no fuss.

In his first season in the Premier league Sagna made the EPL team of the year and was easily one of Arsenal's best performers. Sagna constantly goes unnoticed in Arsenal's success and deserves a lot more credit.

Without Sagna you fail to imagine were Arsenal would be.
