Euro 2012 is almost over, but the FAILs keep coming.

As the matches take on more and more importance in Euro 2012's knockout stage, the fan outfits become more and more ridiculous. But the fans aren't the only people doing and saying silly things.

Read on for the detailed failings of Phil Brown, Martin Keown, two Portugal teammates and, of course, Samir Nasri.

Language FAIL

So you're Italian, huh? (Well, maybe.)

And you love Italy, eh? (Duh.)

Why, then, is the text on your hat written in English?

Mix and Match

At least these French fans didn't make the mistake of writing "We Love France" on their hats in English.

Nothing else, however, makes sense about these costumes.

What look are they going for? Gallic mariachi?

Props to Le Ronald McDonald Française in the back, though.

You Just Got Lei'd

You're not in Hawaii, bro. You're in Poland.

Extra points deducted if he went around saying "I just got lei'd" to any unfortunate female fan at Euro 2012.

By the way, does that joke translate just as badly into Greek?

Love Is in the Air

Dear Lord, let him be joking.

We can only assume his face paint is referring to German Chancellor Angela Merkel and her, ahem, charms.

Phil Brown Is Very, Very Confused

According to former Derby County, Hull City and Preston North End manager Phil Brown, Italian midfield wizard Andrea Pirlo is "homophobic" for never leaving Italy in his professional playing career (per Radio Five Live, via the Daily Telegraph).

Presumably, Brown meant "homesick" or "xenophobic."

Even if that's true, though, what would he say about the entire England national team?

It's Like an NFL Basketball Player

In the United States, NFL players play American football and NBA players play basketball.

Don't tell that to former Arsenal and England international defender Martin Keown.

It will be much more fun if he shows up to a Miami Heat game asking about touchdowns and pass interference penalties (h/t 101 Great Goals).

Portugal Training Bust-Up

Portugal will face off with Spain on Wednesday in the Euro 2012 semifinals. Before that, though, a couple of players had to face off in training.

In the video above, you can see Portugal's Ricardo Quaresma kicking teammate Miguel Lopes. Nice teamwork, fellas.

You can read all about the incident at RTE Sport.

Making Friends

Samir Nasri is facing up to a two-year ban from international football (per the Daily Telegraph).

Did he send an opponent to the hospital with a grievous injury? Did he take performance-enhancing drugs? Did he bet on his own matches?

Nope, he cussed out a journalist.

Smooth move, Sammy.
