Building the Perfect Quarterback Prospect
Tom Brady isn't the perfect quarterback. Nor is Peyton Manning.
Neither is Cam Newton nor Aaron Rodgers.
On a given day, one of these guys (and others not named above) may play perfectly, but in reality, there are still flaws and areas for improvement, though assigning criticism for each proves a difficult task.
Yet if it were scientifically possible to extract each of their best attributes to create one genetically engineered super play-caller, then you'd have the perfect quarterback.
What are those attributes exactly? In Rodgers, you have a guy with tremendous arm strength capable of involving all receivers and stretching the field vertically.
Newton, on the other hand, does it with his feet—setting a record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in 2011, his rookie year.
The incomparable Brady is the master of accuracy and intelligence, reasons why he is always amongst the league leaders in passing yards and touchdowns.
Then there's Peyton Manning, who can game-plan better than any other active quarterback, exposing defenses for more than a decade now.
Find out more about the perfect quarterback, as Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller breaks down these four amazing leaders.
