Fantasy WWE: Summarized Monday Night Raw (June 18)

Will OwenCorrespondent IJune 24, 2012

Hey Bleacher Report! As the Raw brand tries to catch up right before Money in the Bank, I now provide you all with the final missing Raw episode from this past Monday. Due to time restraints, this is a summarized version of the slideshow that I would usually post.

Just a week before Money in the Bank, no contestants have been named for the Money in the Bank match. Does Vince McMahon have something up his sleeve? Let's get to Raw!

Promo: Raw Is Live from the Nassau Coliseum

JR welcomes the WWE Universe at the announce table and says that the Money in the Bank match is not cancelled. Vince McMahon comes down to the ring and says he has an important announcement.

Tonight is Money in the Bank qualification night. The rules are simple: Every man from the Raw roster will be in action tonight. The eight men who impress Vince McMahon the most will be in the match. He also says that since his job is still under evaluation, he wants to be as fair and impartial as possible.

Match 1: Dark Thunder, John Morrison and Shelton Benjamin vs. The Hart Dynasty, Drew McIntyre and Alex Riley4-on-4 Tag-Team Match

The Hart Dynasty is firing on all cylinders and crushes John Morrison and Shelton Benjamin, but when they tagged in McIntyre so he could fight Morrison, Mark Henry came in and the match was over from there.

Winner: Mark Henry (Time of Match: 7:13)

Promo: Sheamus Backstage Interview

Sheamus is interviewed backstage and says there is no chance of Randy Orton beating him because is the strongest and toughest man on the Raw roster.

The two of them continue talking when Randy Orton walks over. He asks to take place in the interview, and Todd Grisham accepts. Grisham asks Orton a question, but Orton instead sets his sights on Sheamus.

He takes Sheamus and Irish whips into the interview set, causing the little area's setup to collapse. He says, "You must be pretty damn tough," and walks away.

Match 2: Fatal 4-Way Ladder Match for a Spot at Money In the Bank: Kane vs. Ted DiBiase vs. R-Truth

This is an all-around decent match. No great spots, really, although Ted DiBiase hits Dream Street on R-Truth, who hits a ladder on the ground.

Kane starts climbing and sees Ted DiBiase trying to move up the ladder to stop him, so he delivers two rights and hits a choke bomb off the ladder. Kane takes the contract and walks out.

Winner: Kane (Time of Match: 8:29)

Promo: Booker T Comes Down to the Ring

Booker T comes down to the ring and says that he is proud of himself. He is the first person to beat Mason Ryan since WrestleMania.

He says that he still has it, and the WWE Universe knows that. Now he wants to fight tonight because he wants another shot at his World Heavyweight Championship.

Match 3: Mason Ryan vs. The Great Khali vs. Booker T vs. Joe Hennig vs. Justin Gabriel - 5-Man Battle Royal

This is a somewhat quick match. The four other participants team up to eliminate the Great Khali, and then the match is essentially a four-man battle royal.

Hennig is out next, thanks to a Mason Bomb out of the ring. It's now Booker T vs. Justin Gabriel vs. Mason Ryan. Booker T goes for a Book End on Mason Ryan, but Ryan reverses it and throws him over the top rope.

Now it's Mason Ryan and Justin Gabriel. It's pretty well fought for about three more minutes, but in the end, Mason Ryan throws Gabriel over the top turnbuckle to eliminate him.

Winner: Mason Ryan (Time of Match: 6:52)

Promo: Kassius Ohno Walks into Vince McMahon's Office

Vince McMahon tells Kassius that the rules of the night state that Kassius must wrestle, but Vince says that he will handpick Kassius' opponent to give him a slight upper edge.

Kassius asks Vince if he knows any of the Money in the Bank participants yet, and Vince said that Kassius shouldn't worry about it.

Match 4: Kassius Ohno vs. William Regal

Kassius Ohno comes down to the ring, and his opponent is William Regal. Regal puts up an amazing fight, constantly getting decent grapples in, but in the end, Kassius pins Regal after the Hangman's Elbow.

Winner: Kassius Ohno (Time of Match: 4:41)

Promo: Contract Signing Between Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins with David Otunga as Mediator

Rollins walks in the ring and signs the contract, but then David Otunga holds his arms and Lesnar feeds him a few vicious rights. Lesnar leaves the ring with his head held high.

Match 5: The Usos vs. The Cólons vs. Bo Rotundo and Husky Harris

The Usos don't worry about the Colons and instead attack Rotundo and Harris since they took the Usos' spot in the Federation. The Colons take advantage of this when Primo hits a schoolboy pin on Jey Uso for the victory.

Winner: Primo and Epico

Promo: Hype for the 1,000th Episode of Raw and Money in the Bank

Money in the Bank's card will look like this for Raw:

  • Wade Barrett vs. Rey Mysterio in a Hardcore Match
  • Sheamus vs. Randy Orton
  • Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar for the World Heavyweight Championship
  • Raw Money in the Bank Match

The 1,000th episode of Raw will include:

  • Ted DiBiase vs. Justin Gabriel vs. Mason Ryan for the European Championship

Match 6: Seth Rollins and Randy Orton vs. Sheamus and Wade Barrett

Sheamus and Barrett definitely don't like each other, but they put their differences aside as they try to take down Rollins and Orton.

Orton hits the O-Zone on Barrett. Sheamus hits a Brogue Kick on Rollins and then a Celtic Cross on Orton. Sheamus covers Orton for the victory. Orton, enraged, RKOs Rollins and then walks out of the ring.

Main Event Promo: Vince McMahon Announces the Participants

Vince McMahon comes down to the ring and says that he has decided who the participants will be in the match: Kassius Ohno, Ted DiBiase, Kane, Mark Henry, Drew McIntyre, Mason Ryan, Abe Washington and Justin Gabriel.

We end the show right before Money in the Bank with the eight men walking down to the ring and staring at each other.

Thanks for reading! There's no need to rate this one because it is summarized. Don't forget to check out Money in the Bank tonight!
