The summer transfer window is always a busy time, with rumors and speculation rife about who's coming and who's leaving certain clubs.

Tottenham Hotspur are no exception to that rule. The transfer window has already seen Spurs lose their manager, linked to several high-profile footballers and rumored to be losing several of their current stars.

Sometimes, it's all a bit too much to keep up with—that's why we've got all your Tottenham transfer rumors and updates right here in the one place for you.

So with that, let's take a look at who could be arriving at White Hart Lane over the transfer window.

Jan Vertonghen

Ajax defender Jan Vertonghen is rumored to have signed with Spurs next season, though it is still widely believed that discussions are in progress.

Dutch media outlet NOS is reporting that a £9.6 million deal has been reached between the two parties.

Vertonghen recently gave Tottenham a huge boost by stating his intent to still join the club regardless of who the manager was for next season, and it appears more and more likely that an official deal will be released sometime in the next few days.

Gareth Bale

Another huge boost for Spurs comes in the form of Gareth Bale, who has reportedly confirmed he will stay at White Hart Lane for another season—despite the sacking of Harry Redknapp and the absence of Champions League Football (from the Daily Mirror).

Many expected Bale to leave at the end of the season in order to play in Europe's most prestigious tournament, but he is likely to stay at the club, which may offer the midfielder a pay-raise in order to keep him until his contract expires in 2015.

Either way, Bale remaining at the club is a huge confidence boost for Spurs and, without doubt, their greatest news of the summer transfer window so far.

Luka Modric

The news is not as good for Luka Modric, who is strongly rumored to be leaving the club—the only question remaining is where he will end up (per the Daily Mail).

Originally linked to Manchester United, the Croatian midfielder is reported to be in the process of completing a deal with Real Madrid and is likely to tell club officials of his decision to leave the club sometime in the upcoming week.

Andre Villas-Boas

Former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is touted by many as the most likely replacement for Harry Redknapp in the manager's role, though he will have to beat out French manager Laurent Blanc for the job next season according to Goal.com.

The Telegraph reports both Villas-Boas and Blanc are expected to meet with Tottenham officials and chairman Dan Levy this week.

If it does come down to these two men, you'd have to favor the ex-Chelsea boss, whose proven experience and backing from current Tottenham players portrays him as the most viable candidate for the position and the best option for Spurs.

Vedran Corluka

After losing his place in the starting lineup for Tottenham, Vedran Corluka is reportedly set to leave the club during the transfer window, with the Daily Mail reporting a move to Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow rumored to be in the final stages.

The good relationship between Spurs and Lokomotiv Moscow—as seen with Roman Pavlyuchenko's transfer to the club—means that a deal is likely to be agreed on in the near future and a formal announcement to be made shortly.

Salomon Rondon

The Daily Star reports Malaga striker Salomon Rondon has reportedly been slapped with a £20 million transfer fee by his current club as Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham battle it out for the Venezuelan's services next season.

Backed by their Qatari owners, Malaga are looking to offload Rondon in order to bring in a big-name striker to the club—meaning that they are likely to sell him for the right price.

This might put Liverpool out of contention and potentially Tottenham also, though they could have some money in the bank should a Luka Modric move to Real Madrid go through.

Nuri Sahin

Wrapping up our transfer gossip for Spurs is a potential move from Nuri Sahin, whom Tottenham are reportedly demanding from Real Madrid as part of a deal for Luka Modric (according to Metro).

The 23-year-old struggled to fit in at Real last season but is still highly rated by many clubs.

He would be a huge grab by Dan Levy, who is known for negotiating large fees when selling players.

With interest from Manchester United and Paris St. Germain, Tottenham can afford to take a tough stand on Modric and ask for Sahin, and it could well turn out to be a great move for the club. It all depends on just how badly Real Madrid want Modric next season.
