It's disclosure time: As mentioned in the title, this article reveals a spoiler from tonight's SmackDown. So, if you are not a fan of spoilers or were hoping to be surprised by the official announcement, read no further.

Everyone else, here we go...

It's being reported by WrestlingInc.com that The Big Show was announced as the first competitor for the Money in the Bank pay-per-view:

It will be announced on tonight's WWE SmackDown that Big Show is the first participant in one of the Money in the Bank Ladder Matches at next month's Money in the Bank pay-per-view.

Our correspondent sent word that Show declared he will be in the Money in the Bank ladder match for the WWE Title shot.

Ultimately, I am surprised that he is in the running for the WWE title MitB match. To me, it would seem more logical to have him listed for the World title, as Sheamus has less options to feud with than Punk. In the end, who knows if the big man will even win, as he hasn't fared well in this match.

Personally, I have never been a fan of having big men involved in ladder matches. It almost lets the fans know that they won't be winning the match. With the exception of Kane, most of the winners have been of smaller stature.

As it stands right now, we don't know who he will be competing against. But I can almost guarantee his opponents have a better shot at winning than he does.

I am not taking anything away from Show's skills in the ring, just speaking as a matter of fact. Granted, Show has only participated in this match once before, so the odds aren't completely against him. However, he is in his 40s, and this match should really be used to push younger talent.

I guess we will have to wait and see who is added in the weeks to come in order to determine Show's real chances.

Alright, time for you to weigh in: Was this a good first choice or a waste of a spot?
