Brett the Jet Retires...AGAIN!!!

Chris BrooksCorrespondent IFebruary 12, 2009

So for the millionth time in history, Brett Favre has announced his intent to retire. I believe it will last this time. The tears will be minimal and everyone will ask, "Are you sure this time?"

On our sports talk show at George Mason, "Sports Break," we discussed Favre in one of our topics of conversation. All four hosts of the show agreed if the Jets had won the division and advanced to the playoffs, Favre would have stayed.

Not so fast my friend...they missed it. Favre and the Jets collapsed, and now he is gone from the game.

A great career, but he should have stopped when he retired the last season. It was a heart-break the way he went out, and the Jets are probably a little upset right now.
