We'll get a glimpse of the NHL's future in a matter of hours, as some of the world's brightest young stars will hear their names called during the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
The Edmonton Oilers have the first pick in the annual event, which will be held at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh. The first round will take place on Friday, with rounds 2-7 coming on Saturday.
