Not only is Miami Heat superstar LeBron James one win away from winning his first championship, but in some people’s eyes, LBJ is also one win away from repairing his image.

But for some, not even a ring can repair that image of the nine-year veteran. In fact, it is quite possible that LeBron winning that first ring could make him even more hated than he was before.

I didn't think that was possible, but James winning a title will result in some very irate NBA fans.

While some people are diehard NBA fans, some people watch the game just to root against LeBron. Seeing him celebrate with the Larry O'Brien Trophy will send some fans over the edge.

The guy can't win for losing. People wanted him to win a title, and now if he does he will be hated even more for doing so.

The hate for LBJ will......if he wins a ring?

The funny part is that if you would ask all the people who have a passionate hate for LeBron, I bet half of them completely forgot or have no idea why they actually hate him.

Do they hate him because he left Cleveland? Because of how ridiculous The Decision was? Because he had to join other superstars to win a title? Or is it something complete different like the idiotic and cocky way he predicted multiple championships?

It could be because of the fact that he, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh have painted themselves as victims the past two years, but I don't know for sure because I lost count a long time ago of the many reasons that people hate James.

While I don't agree with it, these same people have had fun criticizing James for his failures even though he's been the best player in the game. I don't agree with it but I understand why people hate him.

Maybe it was him saying: (via RealGM.com after 2011 Finals)

At the end of the day, all of the people that were rooting for me to fail, tomorrow they'll have to wake up and have the same life that [they had] before they woke up today. They got the same personal problems they had today and I'm going to continue to live the way I want to live and continue to do the things I want to do.

No, the hate will only increase from here, especially where people are reminded that even though it has been nine years, LBJ would have won his first ring quicker than Michael Jordan did. And once you’re someone’s target for hate, usually you will always be. A championship isn’t going to change that.

It's only been two years since LeBron started to become the villain. Even though he's said and done all the right things this season it's still too fresh in people's mind, and they unfortunately won't let it go.

I can hear the complaints already.

"He's only won one ring."
